I might actually be able to make it there, this year. AND, I might have a bit of extra money (if it shows up by then) to spend on stuff I don't need but really want.

A few weeks ago we had a show down in Mobile, busy as hell, high prices and not many guns selling that I saw, mostly ammo and accessories, maybe I’ll hit the Hoover show Sunday for a possibly lighter crowd day..

I emailed them today. As of now they are a go. I will be a vendor. I usually do pretty well in Hoover.

If you have time, please let us know how it goes that first day, my guess is plenty of looky-loos and new people expecting to find $200 glocks and free ammo. Then shocked with the reality’s of a gun show during a sellers market.

My Dad is in his mid seventies, also. I'm trying to go to as many shows as I can with him. Some of my fondest memories are going to shows with him when I was a kid. |

We have rarely missed a show over the past 30 years. And for me it's mostly a family deal. We get breakfast, go to the show, go out to lunch and discussions of the show. |
