Here in Fort Pierce, they stopped playing Jai Alai a long time ago... The fronton was used for other forms of gambling for a while, but is being demolished now.
This made me wonder... I never see any commercials or talk of Jai Alai anymore.  Is it still a thing anywhere?

The one near Micanopi is still advertised on the interstate as you pass through. I bet it's still open

You can stand in the parking lot of the Home Depot and still smell the cigar and cigarette smoke along with the spilled beer and the hotdog smell that will never leave that piece of earth.

Right now there is not a single fronton open. Dania Beach says it's coming back late 2022, but we'll see.

Have you been to a polo match in Vero Beach?

I used to drive past this place north of Ocala.  No idea if they still play.
