I hope he does, but as AmesHawki correctly said, "they will crush him".  This isn't something they will overlook like trafficking stolen firearms/straw purchases into large urban areas where they are used to cause numerous victims of violence not to mention the original victims of theft and burglary, this isn't a bunch of Glock switches being possessed by gang bangers or weapons being trafficked to drug cartels in Mexico.  The only victim here is the US govt so nothing will be spared in the pursuit of everyone involved.   They will go after everyone else who believed they were making a legal transaction and they will be harmed financially at a minimum.  Nothing good for anyone involved is ahead.

Has nothing to do with machine guns or the 2nd Amendment.  He abused his public office for private gain.  Corruption pure and simple.

Yes very true ref a public corruption charge for how they went around the rules, that is an easy guilty for misuse of office.  That has nothing to do with the unconstitutional laws regarding why the games were played to begin with to obtain items that should be widely and legally available.  Chicken and egg, if not for X there would be no Y.

Apparently some on the Adair city council thought it was wise to reinstate him as chief.  This will go well.
