Intro to Small Boats date

All,

We have had several people inquire about the possibility of moving thr 8 May intro to small boats due to it being scheduled for mothers day weekend. I've also this week been unexpectedly ordered to duty with the Marine Corps for the 8th of May.

I'd like to know what your opinions are regarding moving Intro to small boats to the 26th of June. We would then move June's event to the July event dates, and July's event would move to August and merge with our summer culminating exercise. Poll to follow.

I should also note that the minimum participants required to hold this event is 8 students and 3 instructors/staff. Maximum participants will be 24 students, 5 instructors/staff.

IMO this is the major APC training event of the year, east of the Mississippi.

I should be able to attend if we push it a month.

ETA: I will be unavailable part of July, but I am all good for June.

I voted “no preference” since DangerNarf and I will be attending either way. If it makes more sense to do it in June I say let’s push it, though. Max participation would be best.
