What's an NJ-legal 30 round PMag?

I see. They're more commonly referred to as 10/30 PMags - meaning 10 round capacity in a 30 round body. Saying "NJ-legal 30 round mag" makes it sound like you think NJ had a pre-ban exemption like NY did for a while, or a creative judge that made the purchase of 30-round mags legal for about 3 days, like in CA
