I was listening to satellite yesterday and they were talking about the Ticketmaster fiasco and how people need their money back now, since yes they are going to reschedule but when? Well one of the promoters called in from Kali and he said they have been informed by the governor that he is not going to allow large gatherings at all until they have a vaccination for Covid-19. That ought to be interesting at who else follows suit or if it gets scrapped?

Heard on TV today that the next date for lifting the house arrest is May 30. I don't think people are paying attention to it now, only hurting the business owners.

There was actually a decent amount of traffic on I-5N coming back from the airport on Monday afternoon. |

Stay at home is ridiculous at this point.
The governor's own data points show whom is most likely to die from this: https://www.governor.wa.gov/sites/default/files/4_29_DataVisualizations.pdf Page 19. Over 50% of COVID-19 deaths are age 80+. Open everything up, recommend people age 60-65 or older to shelter in place or take precautionary measures. Recommend all people wear masks. Hair salons, restaurants, bars, etc mostly have younger people working there. Let them get back to work. Rumor is Inslee will extend this to May 25-30, nuking the Memorial Day weekend. ETA: the data trend for new infections, hospitalizations and deaths falling off the proverbial cliff. There's no reason why this data couldn't be projected to see that by Memorial Day weekend, this would continue to be well under control by medical professionals. |

Looking like maybe an announcement at 2:30 today.
Hopefully this ends soon...an extension to the end of the month probably won't be well received, especially with the emerging data on such efforts...nationally, unemployment has climbed to ~30M, nearing 10%. That's lower than what it was in 1929-30. And it wasn't until a few years later that it peaked at 24+%. We are anything but nearing the end of this situation, particularly economically. Boss |

Unbelievable.
The only silver lining on this economic hurricane is that it might cost Inslee the election in November. Eh, who am I kidding? The retard blue voters in WA would vote a dog in if they were a Democrat, and the WA GOP won't be able to find a decent dog to run. |

Loren seems like a great candidate but a straight white male Republican cop from a rural area running on an RKBA platform ain't gonna fly in King County.
Freed has raised the most funds, has credentials from Bothell and King County public service and is a small business owner. He's put forward a great post-pandemic plan that would require WA to slash budgets. And he's pro-2A. He's still got the straight white male problem though. If the WA GOP had a fucking ounce of creativity they would recruit one great woman or minority candidate to run against Inslee. Instead we keep getting fifteen flavors of the same candidate. |

Indeed, Puget sound is largely liberal, but there's lots of older conservative folks that have been in those counties for a looonggg time, more than the 25+ years that D's have run them...they need to be tapped into and not 'shamed' into not voting. Saw this in GD, looks like a suit was filed against Inslee today by state reps from Mason, Thurston, Yakima, and Clark co's along with other residents of WA.

So someone got a hold of the public info on all the snitches that called in on their neighbors, people registered over 7500 complaints in one month . I hope they will enjoy their phone #'s and emails being trolled as they deserve.
I can't imagine calling myself a "man" and appearing on that list but there are a shocking number of them and the most abundant female name doesn't appear to be Karen this time . There are of course a few HEROES that reported INSLEE. |

It's just a numbers problem, for every conservative who votes, King County has three liberal voters. Unless the GOP can come up with better candidates that break the mold, WA is going to be stuck with the record of longest ever single party governor streak (since 1984, we even beat Texas and California!). |

View Quote This is owed to more than 1 county. About 25% of the state's population resides in King Co. The majority of the counties west of Cascades is the problem. From Pierce Co on up, it's majority blue, especially during the "big" election cycles. |

Seems obvious the Governor's office is trying to make up rules on a daily basis. Made face masks mandatory for Yakima County, and then the next day makes it state wide. Someone probably told him he didn't have the authority to mandate rules for an individual County, so in knee jerk fashion he said fine, then everyone gets this rule. Of course I am just guessing about the chain of events, and I am hearing his authority on this is very weak at best.
On the other hand, I have become increasingly concerned about people behaving as though the virus threat is no longer an issue. I believe it is still a serious threat. |

Of course I did. That's the point. Doomers use typical liberal scare tactics and phrases to make everyone panic. The Coronavirus headlines and news stories mostly are just an inch deep worth of data, when the data really is thousands of feet deep as far as whom is actually at high risk vs low/no risk. |
