Nice. What a beautiful area.

I've hunted all over that area. Tinnie, Sunspot, Weed, & Hondo. Love that area.

My taxidermy guy used to be in High Rolls- Monte's. Maybe he's still there. I dont know. He did my Oryx for me, still looking good after 23 yrs.

Did you retire up there?

I wish! Just renting a house at the moment.

Contracting on Holloman AFB so it's going to give me a 30-45 minute drive each way daily to work. But the trees and 20-30 degree temperature difference between there and the desert in and around the white sands valley is worth it. Did I mention trees? Yesterday it was 54 at 2 in the afternoon after a rain when it was still pushing upper 90s in the valley.

Property there is surprisingly affordable. At least until some celebrity decides to have a place there.

So I have a question for the HTF. I have and old flagpole in my yard that's needing old glory and the gadsden flag on it for Wednesday. Trouble is the rope is missing. What is recommended for a replacement?

Maybe I can climb to the top.

I’ve seen it snow in the ATL and parts north. Snow just takes some practice and don’t snort it... it’s cold

Beautiful spot! I've been considering buying a vacation place in the cloudcroft or ruidosa region. Not sure I can justify it, but with pics like that it makes me consider it a little more seriously...

Beautiful spot.
I had thoughts of raising some cows so I chose to get a place in Arabela now that I'm older and tired I sure wish I had just gotten a little place in your area.
Wife makes me go that way every time I'm headed to Cruces so she can go to The Apple Barn.

The lovely bride and I visited Cloudcroft last week. It is a very beautiful area, that’s for sure!

We had lunch at the Cloudcroft Brewery and enjoyed walking around town.
