Welcome! We all get discounts for being in the same awesome state right? :)
Need some real steel targets one of these days, hopefully you have a demo not too far from Phoenix at some point so i can figure out what I need.
Glad to see businesses and especially 2nd A businesses coming to the state.
And as a friendly tip, not sure what the vegetation was like where you were, but whatever you do, don;t fall into this crap...

I don't really follow the normal business model for discounts. I eat sales tax for locals, because taxation is theft. These days, sales tax is effectively a penalty for being in the same state and not buying online, which is dumb but rapidly changing with the new SCOTUS decision. Local pickup also saves a shitload of shipping on reactive and oversize targets. My storefront will also have weird overstocks, occasional blems and partial fuckups, and the ability to risk getting shot repeatedly for shoplifting. So many discount options.
In general, I prefer to let my designs and prices stand on their own. I actually don't have a MIL/LEO discount program for the same reason. 75% (roughly) of my customer base is current or former MIL/LEO, and unless you walk in wearing your uniform, I don't have any way to confirm you were actually a Level IV Seal Wizard Ranger or not. I could jack up my prices and offer a discount to the majority of my customer base so they feel special, but that sounds like a lot of effort, and math. So, I try to set my prices at the point where it's worth me putting forth the effort to be in the business, and worth it to you to buy it from me.
As far as demos near you, I'll likely arrange for something in Spring, but you can always go out to Rio Salado in Mesa and ask them how they like the systems they've bought from me. They're using some in the PCC match this weekend.
And I love teddybear cactus, so snuggly.
