Good through July 2022.

Free to whoever will use them, because it’s a bit of a commute for me. First “I want one/them” post can have one or both of them, just make sure to IM me your mailing address.

Keep in mind this is tied to your car’s license plate, so don’t claim both of you’re only going to take one vehicle.

The last one we had you could put two license plates on.

I have never written my license plate number on any of my Discover Passes. Can that make a difference sometimes or does it depend upon the deputy?

if you dont have a licence number on them you could be ticketed for not having a valid one. and never cross it out and write something different

Got my pass in the mailbox today.  It's already hanging in car.

Good on you OP. I didn’t get one with my hunting tags this year, is that new?

I don't think hunting tags ever included a Discover Pass, just the WDFW Vehicle Access Pass.  Two different things.  Don't need a Discover Pass on WDFW land if you have the Vehicle Access Pass.

Vehicle Access Pass for license holders
A Discover Pass is not always needed to access WDFW-managed lands. A Vehicle Access Pass is issued at no charge by WDFW with the purchase of any annual hunting, trapping, or fishing license, excluding an annual razor clam or shellfish/seaweed license. A Vehicle Access Pass allows you to park at WDFW wildlife and water access areas. A Vehicle Access Pass is transferable between two vehicles.

You are absolutely correct; however, I didn’t get that one either!

I basically protest the discover pass idea since I was visiting all those public places for years before they made you buy a parking pass. The revenue gets misused, there was better upkeep before the pass.

If you tell them you are homeless, don't you get to camp for free?

Maybe that's only in downtown Seattle ...

$30/year is a bargain. One thing I really don't mind buying every year.

Besides, it only is needed at state parks. Tons of other public land doesn't require any passes.

Don't get me started on the NW Forest pass though ....
