We've stayed at the Drury Inn at I-40W and Soncy probably 6 times in the pasr 2 years. Most recently 2 weeks ago.
Never had an issue there. |

I usually stay at the tourist trap of the Big Texan. Never had an issue parking there.

Generally speaking the newer/nicer places are on the western edge of town.

Spent months at the Holiday Inn Express West, over by Soncy. Many break-ins. Now I prefer the newer hotels (Hampton, Holiday Inn east) just east of Big Texan.

Anything west of the I40 I27 interchange should be good to go. The closer to Soncy you get the better. If you can swing it the Embassy Suits or the Barfield downtown would be great options as they are the newest hotels in town, they aren’t cheap though. My vote goes the the Springhill Suites or Holiday Inn off I40 and Soncy.
