I read a news article with an interview of a homeless person.  In it, the person was quoted as saying they did not want government housing, motels, or any other form of a fixed residence.  It did not offer "the freedom" they craved.

I've known all along this was the case for many of them.  Many need and want housing, many do not.

You see a homeless woman.  I see a $10 BJ.

I like that the sheriff is getting ready to take some kind of action in the Venice area.   He's already in pretty much constant conflict with the Board of Stupidvisors, starting to open up CCWs in L.A. County, and now is stepping on toes in Los Angeles city, too.  Most people don't see the money being wasted on High Speed Rail but you'd have to be a complete idiot to see that the current band of political career crooks has done nothing on dealing with the homeless situation.
