I work all day tomorrow but check out Scottsdale Gun Club. It’s probably about 30-40 minutes away. Not sure on the out of state rule so call 1st, but you can rent handguns, rifles and even full autos.
There may be another indoor range closer to you, maybe someone else can chime in on that. Enjoy AZ while your here! If you like to reload make sure to check out Dillon. It’s not that far from SGC. They’re not open on Sundays though. |

Caswells in Mesa or head farther West to the 10 and the 60, by the Ikea and go to C2 Tactical.

Check out C2 in tempe. They are cool.
I remember we went shooting (with my own gear) and it was like 2 of us and 2 lanes and it was barely $40 for like an hour or more i dont remember how long but it was cool |

Thanks for all the great info guys!
I did some poking around on the “Ranges” thread last night. AZ has some great looking outdoor facilities! I’m a member of an outdoor range in Illinois. Max rifle is 300 and no steel targets provided or allowed. Approx $300 a year for a family membership. Anyone know of any outdoor ranges that rent firearms? Sitting outside right now having coffee......something back home you can’t do in January! |

Sorry I just saw this and I have plans for today. I am from Iowa originally and was a IL CCW instructor after their messed up law passed. I used to go meet friends at the Buffalo Pit Range in Ottawa, IL. That place wasn't too bad but it could get scary when all the wanna be gang banger types from Chicago came there to practice.

Scottsdale Gun Club. 15 yrs old is good to go, they will even let him shoot a machine gun. Tons of rental pistols and rifles.
No outdoor range rents firearms, unfortunately. |

My wife and I rented at SGC on two separate occasions as out of stater's before we moved here. Once just handguns and another time an MP5 (with their RO).
We ended up joining, it's a great facility. You shouldn't have any problem renting.  Attached File |

I used to live all over Iowa. Started out in Eldridge, north of the Quad Cities and worked for Jumer's Casino, then to Des Moines to open Prairie Meadows Casino, then off to Dubuque Greyhound Park and Casino, then to Guttenburg. Nice state, good food, winters suck.
