Manassas protest started off as a regular protest - people holding signs, just speaking their minds, and has devolved to tear gas being deployed over the last 3 hours.

They set the KFC bushes and a dumpster in the cafe Rio shipping center on fire.

Went through that area of Manassas this afternoon. Windows broken out of BB&T, Cafe Rio and Taco Bell.
Lots of burnout marks in the street, some pretty heavy where the pavement was actually melted. Don't know what burnouts can do to protesters but obviously somebody in the hood thinks it does something. Is is too much to ask for the police to just use their batons? Maybe that would have an effect. |
