Had some time to kill today before going to hunt a new property...met a guy a couple days ago and he gave me the green light to hunt yotes.

Been wanting to knock the dust off the TC .30-30 Winchester so I set up near an area where I expected to see hogs. When I arrived the hogs were already out in the field so I had to cat and mouse from oak tree to oak tree where I finally got a 40 yard shot on this sow... she went about 10 yards...

Got set up in my truck and figured I'd try the mount with the TC...

That thing feels like it's in a ransom rest... very solid and stable. A short while later this boar came out at about 40 yards and he dropped in his tracks...

Packed up and went to hunt coyote. I just happened to be on the rifle scanning when this female came running past my truck at about 20 yards and into the field. My caller was not activated so I don't know why she came in hot... but when she slowed to a trot I put a 123gr Hornady SST into her... she spun, I hit her again... and down she went. Glad I was paying attention.

I saw two others crossing the field at about 250-300 yards, they stopped and looked my way when I hit the caller but they simply were not interested and moved on. Heard a lot of coyote in the distance, this new place should be good.

The basis of the set up is an MG3 Ring Turret. The actual pintle mount has been modified so just about any firearm can be laid into the cradle and secured.
