Unless it’s Preban or you want a cap pinned on
Conndcj thinks it’s legal with a tactical dildo attached

a threaded barrel with a pinned in QD is not considered threaded. Take down would suck.

But you can have a slide dedicated to the pinned qd. Buy a snake to clean it

In a pre 94 pistol yes. You can buy one for any gun, what you do with it.....

Yeah only hindrance I can think of would be servicing the extractor on some pistols. I don't know if it's as bad as I originally thought it was.

If you’re still in you’re good to go. Just add another slip at separation.

There are many pre-ban host pistols out there for cheap money - for rimfire, Buckmarks & Rugers, for centerfire:  Gen 1 & 2 Glocks, Berettas etc...

I'm lucky - the used police turn in Gen 2 Glock 22 & 23 I bought back in the late 1990's early 2000's that I purchased for $300 each with 3 full cap mags each (during the 1994 Clinton AWB) happened to be pre ban (pre September 1994) didn't mean anything until 2014.   For a suppressor host - I find the pre-ban .40 S&W the best host.  I have a threaded .22 upper for the G22, and a threaded 9mm conversion barrel...  and I can still shoot .40 S&W out of it if needed...
