Announced a couple months ago, I missed it.

Gonna be next to the Buc-ees.

That makes Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney already announced.

Here at HEB Ground Zero, we used to have Kroger and Albertson's.

Now there's just HEB, Walmart and Target.

I was surprised to see an HEB in Monterrey, MX - Apparently, they have a sizable presence in Mexico.

When I moved to Plano in 1999 we enjoyed several years of grocery wars.
WalMart, Kroger, Tom Thumb, Albertsons, Fiesta, Food Lion, Food City, Brookshires, Minyards and a few others.

I drive by there on my way to work in McKinney, that’s going to be worth stopping off at.

Local rumor mill says they announced the Melissa location before the property was actually acquired and the deal fell through.

If it's anything like the one in College Station, it'll be a happening place.

I found an article it said they bought allen land 5 years ago

Dallas news reports in March they were looking to buy in melissa, so maybe it did fall through or it’s still in negotiation.

I'm surprised it didn't end up in Anna like everything else has. Those of us a bit north of there could use another grocery store of any kind.

Oh I'm aware. Our population has gone from 3000 to somewhere around 12000 when the new census figures are released, or so I'm told. We are getting the rooftops now, just waiting for the business to follow.

I always wondered why we don't have one here in El Paso. Then I went to the one in Lubbock.

It would be a logistical nightmare trying to keep it stocked.

I was thrilled they had Lazy Magnolia pecan porter there, bought a case

You don't have anything like that in your neck of the wood, right?  Well, maybe a Walmart.

Eh, not too bad - about 40 min from my house. Not much around in Springtown.
