What are some recommended gunsmiths for bolt guns? Would like to stay with in a hour to two hour drive of NOVA. Looking at having some work done to a couple of rifles. Some of the work I would like done is action bedding, installing pillars in a stock, new bolt knob, and inletting stock for new bottom mental. The stock bedding and inletting are the most important work. The other stuff I can do via mail. I really do not want to ship one of these rifles as it would probably cost a lot.

I know of War Rifles in Manassas and another place down in Lorton. Also a third place in Richmond, but the name escapes me right now. Are there any others?

I've had good luck with Hall Precision and Gunsmithing on Rt. 3 a couple miles east of I-95 near Fredericksburg (5320 Plank Rd.) They did some nice repair work on a handgun of mine so I can't speak about any rifle or shotgun repairs.
