AFAIK the only way to skirt the federal requirement is to institute a waiting period longer than the three day background check provision.

Hickenlopper would probably try to get CO State house buddies to change current reg's. Rep Rhonda Fields was looking at the mag kit issue ,before CoVid19 messed up the Legislative timetable.

CBI pisses me off to no end. They got that bullshit fee passed in 2013 with the promise that these extended wait times wouldn't happen again (after the 2012 panic and resulting back log). Sure enough, we got long wait times again. I wonder what they are squandering the fee money on.
