Capitol Police said about 2400 people endered the building, with "vast majority" of them Pro-RKBA patriots. No "issues" reported to Cap Police.
Nicely done, folks!
Rest up, and get back to work firing off e-mails and calls, focusing on House/Senate Leadership, House Senate Judiciary' Committee members, and of course your own Rep and Senator. If your Sen and/or Rep is on a Judiciary Committee, your input is doubly important, and if your Rep/Senator is in Leadership, your input as THEIR Constituent is also hugely important. Don't forget to mention that you are their Constituent!
When e-mailing any of these people, concentrate on a single Bill that is before them, giving its number and title. Give them a few bullet points against the Bill (or for, as the case may be), and let it go at that. Short, sweet, and to the point. Easily read and understood.
A couple of days later, do the same for another bill that's before them, and so on. Don't put everything in a single e-mail that's too long for anyone to read.
There's enough good and bad bills to keep everyone busy for a while. Keep the e-mails focused on single bills, and flood them with e-mails from now on. Volume makes a difference.
