There’s already a thread for this in the Georgia HTF but we may as well get a fresh one going in here as well. There have been a couple of small Georgia APC events that I’m aware of but not really much in the way of formal organizing yet. Maybe we can get that going now that we are mostly past the days of widespread lockdowns and such.

As much as I hate saying this, with my work schedule you can't count on me for anything. I told @redgoat a couple weeks ago that it's like Arfcom has a copy of my schedule and plans stuff when I'm on shift. But whatever I can do I will. Even if it's just set up or clean up. I'm down to help you guys any way possible.

Hey y'all. Moved from TX several years ago where family had land and I had plenty of places to shoot. Now living at the edge of Roswell/Alpharetta. Would love to get together with some like minded friends and go plinking (or hunting , or grab a beer, etc.) Let me know if you are close by. Saw a Forsyth county already, so know I have at least one neighbor.

Had our first event in the Athens area yesterday. 8 attendees on 48 hours' notice was pretty good. We got some newbies to get comfortable with shooting, practiced our fundamentals, and confirmed that .22 conversion kits are a great way to save money but terrible if you're trying to shoot tight groups. There were three old rifles that spoke for the first time in over 90 years, and a printed AR lower, but all those were just for fun

Next month it's a hike under load, and if we give people 3+ weeks' heads up we can hopefully get better attendance.
