Anyone know of anyone who buys furs in the southwestern part of the state, particularly raccoons?

Years ago I looked into it, found a guy near Meadville who would buy raccoons, $10 whole, $12 for just the furs if done right (though certainly I wasn't planning to skin a raccoon for $2). Lost track of that guy though. Meadville was a bit of a trek anyway.

Looks like the Westmoreland Fur Post might still be in business
They are out between New Alexandria and Latrobe

When I trapped and lived in SWPA we sold our furs to Cherokee Fur Post near Uniontown.

A Google search makes me think that they may still be in business.

Ok. I talked with a couple of trappers today.

One was the district 3 director of the PA trappers association. I will be contacting this guy about buyers in the area.

He said he has a guys info at home, that buys furs and is located in SWPA.
