I'm over 320 days pending on a form 4. Anyone have any experience with contacting a senator or congressman to make a complaint?

My longest was over a year...
Whats real F'ed up is I know you have been waiting that long I have read reports of folks submitting F1 and F4s and getting them back in a few months... That ain't right... |

My last F1 was 14 days around June of last year.
I'm at 208 days on my most recent F4. Then of course looking at NFA Tracker, Paper F4 approval rates are increasing at an exponential rate... I'll be happy to get an approval before the end of 2022. Looking past the fact that the NFA should be repealed; I'm just more frustrated with what actually drives the differences. Why does my F1 take 2 weeks and my F4 take a year? A silencer is a silencer whether I make it or buy it... Edited to Add: OP, just realized I never addressed your question. Sorry I don't have any advice for you; the only people I've heard of having luck pulling things in have been .mil folks who need approvals before they PCS. So all I can really offer is the consolation that you're not alone. |

Yes. I have had Josh Hawley's office unstick an NFA item (Form 1) that was stuck in FBI background check.
There is a form you have to fill out and sign in order for his staff to handle it. It was resolved quickly |

I picked up my DeadAir Mask HD today! 333 days from the day my check was cashed to approval. I called ATF today and found out it was approved 2/16. My dealer had the stamp for a month and didn't call me.

Sorry, just now following up here- checked cashed March 23rd 2021, approved 2 weeks ago, so a few days shy of a year.
