[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Flying to Alabama tomorrow. CCW issues?

Flying into Huntsville tomorrow and was curious if you guys have any weird state level laws for CCW than most states. Duty to notify, specific areas where carry isn't allowed, etc. I Googled of course but figured I'd still ask here

Castle Doctrine
No duty to retreat
No duty to inform
No mag limits
Carry in vehicle
Signs not enforced
Open Carry OK

Not mentioned: drinking while carrying. I wouldn't, but YMMV.

As stated....assuming you have a permit with reciprocity.....(permitless carry enacts next year)

Technically an oc state, so printing with a permit shouldn't be an issue.

Signs carry no legal weight so long as it doesn't reach the trespass trigger.
Some malls use "firearm dogs", see trespass.

Wouldn't drink heavily if carrying.

We're a gun friendly state here. You can pretty much carry openly, concealed or in your car. I believe Alabama honors all states CC permits.
