Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Firearms training course recommendations

Does anybody have any recommendations on a good firearms course in Southern California? Preferably Riverside county, San Bernardino County, and will even go down to San Diego.
I want to take a basic carbine course, then a basic handgun course, and then move onto defensive rifle and defensive handgun.
Also, not only recommendations, but courses and instructors to avoid would be good.

Angeles Shooting Range has some classes but the wrong direction for you

I took a class from a SWAT guy in Riverside, 20+ years ago, but forgot who he was.  We did shoot his MP5 at the end of class

I considered the Tacticalifornia class. Route 66 shooting park is also offering classes from what I’ve seen. Im going to take a stop the bleed course there next month.
