In Iowa can I keep a firearm in my vehicle at work, even if my workplace prohibits firearms? I cannot find a definitive answer anywhere to this.

The answer is this. legally you can as long as it is stored w/i the law, I.e. permit/no permit. However since Iowa still does not have a parking lot law if your employer has a weapons policy or if they just plain want to they can terminate you if found out. Catch-22 situation. IFC tried to get this fixed last session but due to schools being a "no fly zone" so to speak and Aaron Dorr and his antics it died.
