I have these super fast red colored ants all over my driveway.they go through the rock landscape all the way to about three houses down. These little guys haul ass in a line and i can’t figure out where they have their home.

I sprinkle the granules for the black ants that show up in summer time but These are not phased by it.

What can i use ?

Red ants are not necessarily fire ants, Fire ants are usually pretty big.

These are smaller skinny size compared to the black ones that seem to attempt to gain entry into my house every summer

They’re just typical red ants, Terro ant bait should do the trick.

There are ants that will not eat any type of bait, granules or liquid.

When that happens, I find the mound and spray it with scorpion poison.
It usually takes several applications over a couple of weeks to kill them all.
The last ant colony that I had problems with was way over on the neighbors land.
