Things I don't understand.

1.  Why so much tailgating and cutting off even me going 5-10 over?

2.  Why do truckers camp out in lanes instead of passing and getting over?

3.  Seafood has been underwhelming.

as far as # 1 I grew up in CA and now live in CO and have had to deal with terrible drivers all my life.  So I am not bullied by the idiots.  Though I will say it isn't all drivers but maybe 10% who suck.

#2 I have my CDL and have driving otr in the past, usually it's stay right unless passing, here the trucks camp out in any ol lane passing or not. It's strange from a truck driving perspective.  

#3 have tried to get seafood of all sorts in numerous places.  Cape Charles I had a soft shell crab that had barely any meat.  The two places I enjoyed seafood was Aberdeen barn and George's buffet.  I know those two aren't the Mecca of good seafood but those I enjoyed.  Maybe it's me, but I don't think so since I grew up on and in the ocean.

overall I have enjoyed my time here and will be back people have been great.

Need to be going at least 20 over to be in the left lane.

Noted. Don't see many cops out on the roads around here either.

20 over is still reckless driving.

We got places to go. Things to do. Don’t ride the left lane. Too easy.

If you use proper defensive driving and leave proper room between cars in VA you will drive backwards.

5-10 over is normal center and right lane speed. Some of us are trying to break the law for real.

I-81 can get sporty.

Will do.  RIC is a nice and small airport.  Much nicer than dealing with the size of DEN. Wish there were more directs to RIC. Had them and southwest deleted them on us.

Probably, 95% of my ancestors lived in VA before moving on west. My family built Smithfield, but this was the first time in VA for me. Will definitely be back. 10 days wasn't enough to even scratch the surface of the history.
