I can't help but wonder what is going to happen now that the Argies feel empowered by the UN ruleing.

Will the UK defend the Falklands if and when the Argies invade again or skirmishes break out over oil drilling or fishing .

The Argues invade with what? A fishing boat and rubber raft? Their navy is useless, their airforce is horribly outdated, and their ground forces are broke.

In 1982, the Argies had a decently modern air force equipped with then-modern missile systems and good air defense systems.

Today, their economy and their military is in shambles.

In contrast, the royal forces have enough military deterants to obliterate anything from Argentina which approaches the Falllands over, on, or under the sea.
