This is the criminal case out of White County about a lady that had a single shot .22 rifle in her home without a FOID.
It went to the IL Supreme court but, they sent it back to the lower court on a technicality of that Judge's ruling, mostly because they didn't want to rule on it.
This is not a lawsuit...it is a criminal case.  Any positive ruling will only pertain to that case which would be about the requirement to have a FOID to own a gun in your home.
It would make for a great foundation for further cases against the FOID.
