Greetings All,

I hope it's OK to post this here:  I am a Mechanical Engineer here in Sterling Heights and new to Michigan.  I work onsite ten days then telecommute from home (Louisville) for ten days.  I am looking to rent a room on a monthly basis within twenty miles of SH.  I am planning on purchasing a small home in the Spring so this would be just a temporary setup.  I've looked on Craigslist and other sites dedicated to part-time rents but I prefer to keep my kidneys.

If you or someone you know would be open to this I'd appreciate a response.

I stayed overnight at the Spartan Motel in Rochester Hills, walking distance to stores and bars. It was OK, I stayed with my Mom for a funeral for her sister.
Nice neighborhood, not many frills
