Tried to vote early yesterday in person at my local city hall.  Smallish town, so no line.  Went inside, and was told the voting machine was broken.  Probably would be fine, but didn't want to leave a ballot with the local election folk, unless I absolutely have to.  Guess I'll vote Tuesday, as was the initial plan!

I voted early in Dakota county. Absentee ballots filled out and turned in on site. Mine just went into a box. I checked online a few days ago and it appears to be in the system.

Yeah....  I probably should have done that and saved the hassle on Tuesday after work.

Just something about my trust issues....

Same here.  Me, my wife, and our two grown sons are going together.

I went in around 10am and voted; filled out the early voting form, they gave me a ballot, then walked me back to the tally machine where I fed it in. I watched to make sure it counted.

3 or 4 other people were there also filling out ballots; no line to speak of.

I heard the person at the counter say more than 400 had voted early so far...I'm not sure how large of an area we cover for voting, but the town I live in has ~2000 souls, including children, so that's a pretty good early turnout IMO.
