He has a pretty bad reputation. Make sure you inspect it thoroughly. Cash and carry is best

Mel has never been anything less than nice to me.  He's not everyone's cuppa tea, obviously.  I bought two handguns from him with zero issues.  Both were a long time ago.

Do some more research.  See if it is really worth it.  There are plenty of places to buy molds from.  Hell, put a WTB on this site and the Colorado AR-15 Forum.  You might save some money and help a brother out.
