See tacked thread above for contact info

I’ve told my reps I demand Arkansas follow Texas and declare Arkansas a 2nd Amendment sanctuary
No more bullshit

Which tacked thread?    Little chance with the current governor and all the RINO repubs we got.

Anybody heard anything regarding Bill 59?  I think that’s what addresses this.

After seeing the spectacular inaction of my current senate rep, I'm seriously considering running.
Then I remember I have teh poors and can't afford to run.

Hopefully his veto will be overridden today.

The legislature will have no problem overriding the veto.  It was a large margin vote 28-7 senate, and 76-18 house votes.

Senate passed override vote.  Headed to House.

Can't wait for our current RINO GOV to get out of office. Can't believe he vetoed this bill, well I can. I will be supporting Rutledge in 2022.

Hell yeah, I couldn't find exact #'s but it seemed like it passed both chambers with overwhelming support.

Why a no go for Rutledge?

Who’s the best candidate so far?

Mostly because she has never acknowledged that Arkansas is a constitutional carry state.  She fought the idea for several years, she wrote an AG opinion denying Act 746.  Only recently is she forced to come around to the idea.  This only happened through the appeals courts

She is not a 2nd amendment supporter even if she has a campaign photo of herself duck hunting

Ugg...full politic mode going on today.   Vote again delayed on 298.   Governors people getting involved and enough sucking up to have some effect.   Backup Bill, not as effective, also submitted.

She is being called out for supporting Boozeman(Mr anti Trump) and no where to be found in this recent bamboozle at the Capitol.   I think she'll be a loose cannon and not someone us gun people would desire.    Probably better than the current AG though.

Like most politics, Sarah is the least damaging IMHO.

It was thought Tim was going to run for Gov but he doesn't want to challenge Sarah.   So now he's running for AG.

Sorry, I could only support Sanders in the general election as a last resort. I dont get the hate for Rutledge, she strikes me as a no nonsense straight shooter, but I dont follow what goes on in Little Rock as closely as I should. I would like to see Cotton as Gov, but we really need him in the Senate.
