I'm sure we had a thread on this, but it must have been archived.

As promised, the commie bitch vetoed the bill to overturn the ban.

Anyone know if the votes are there to override it?

I've already emailed my rep and sen, but they're both D's, so I'm wasting my time.

Yep, there's a lot of that going around.

.

Stupid asses at the DNR will raise the price of licenses..  Again.

Because we all know that's the way to raise revenue.

You can come shoot as many deer over my 55 acre bait pile right now.  Damn deer are a plague.  Neighbor (adjoining land owner) said he counted over 40 deer between his fallow field (lots of greens under the wheat cover crop) and my cut bean field.

I hunted public land for years and thought this would be a nice problem to have some day.  It isn't.

I think I'm about done deer hunting.  I have other things to hunt like turkey and coyotes, and with the cost and now hassle of CWD related regs., we are just going to get a 1/4 beef and 1/2 a hog every year, plus whatever turkey/waterfowl I shoot and be done with it.  For what I can get for a deer hunting lease I can buy beef/pork for the year.

The people I enjoyed hunting with have either passed on or no longer hunt, which doesn't help, either.

DNR was serious about it too.  I saw their helicopter twice during gun season.
