Putting in the garden this week. Deer seem to think it's a buffet for them. Does anyone have any suggestions for home made recipes and/or household goods that can repel them? I don't think it's deer season so that's out of the question. Halp!!

I planted thousands of trees as part of a CRP project and the deer tore them up. I tried a few things and dryer sheets would sort of work for about a week or 2. In the end the only real solution was caging them with wolven wire fence. I still have some of those cages and use them in my garden now, works well.

Based on my deer hunting experience I seem to possess a secret deer repellent.  I could hire myself out.

Liquid Fence seems to work for Mama's garden.

We use Predator Eyes, and they work great! You do have to move them about every two weeks though. Look them up on Amazon to get the details on them.................

We said to hell with it a few years ago, wrapped the garden in wire and put the juice to it. They stay out now.

Very nice looking garden

I've heard of some people quartering up Irish spring soap and putting it out

My father used to use my SKS or whatever else was handy, but he was at war with them for forty years. Deer were hell on his peach trees and watermelon patches. Needless to say we ate a boat load of deer.
