The fish hatchery at Dworshak can be fun, even more fun if they have fish at the various growth stages, otherwise it can be a lot of empty tanks, with interpretive signs.

The last time I stopped to eat in Orofino was at Becky's Burgers, but it's been closed for 20 years. EDIT: Looks like there is a new burger joint in its place called "Mrs C's Burgers" I think I may have stopped once at the Syringa Cafe years ago, it's somewhere between Kooskia and the turnoff for the Selway Falls area. |
