Whoever’s concerned...
We should start banding together... Real fast like. I’m suggesting. People do the same based on county....expand from there. |

Yes. This is the right thing to do. I am in the Western Catskills/Upper Susquehanna.

Eastern Nassau. Definitely need a method of coms for HTF's real quick

You can name them whatever you want if you use CHIRP to program the radios, be sure to add National Weather Service stations too. And then don't use them unless the SHTF, unless you have a Ham license or some old guy will triangulate your POS and turn you into the FCC for broadcasting without a license. |

Leftist are emboldened in my AO, actively trying to cancel and doxx members of the community for having and being vocal about conservative values. Be careful who you trust.

Our radios are set up with an offset and buried in a mostly unused channel in my AO I think theres a sub channel involved as well, not entirely sure I'm not the comms guy in my group lol. We know we aren't going to be the only ones listening if SHTF though. |

Western suffolk. Can put you in touch with people if need be.

I know this may sound naive, possibly sarcastic, but honestly concerned. What’s changed?

Get Hold of your local HAM clubs, they have people called ELMERS that help people with comms.

Guys let's try and do some regional lunches, get to know each other, even if it's only 2 or 3 guys at a time. I'm not much of an organizer but I would attend. Personally, I would do anywhere in Rockland, Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, Westchester, Putnam or Dutchess Counties.

Wasn't there a gathering a few years ago at Croxley's in Farmingdale?

Quoted: Wasn't there a gathering a few years ago at Croxley's in Farmingdale? View Quote I believe there was.... I was unable to make it. I’m no expert on these matters ... and I’m completely open to suggestions.... but off the top of my head I’m thinking we reach out each other and just go out and grab a beer or two.... by general area. Just some hang outs and meet ups... outdoor be awkward but desperate times call for desperate measures. |

Western Nassau Pick a date and time and lets get the ball rolling.

I am on the border of Orange, Ulster and Sullivan Counties. The last get togethers I attended were the closing of the SKD shop near West Point and the Schleshingers steakhouse get together in Newburgh organized by Mag162.

Let's try and pick a date, general time and vague geographic location first. Once we determine who is in, the exact location should be disclosed only via PM for OPSEC.
I don't know what schedules you guys run, but weekday evenings are about the only thing not good for me. I can do breakfast or lunch any day of the week usually, and anything on weekends. I'll get the ball rolling and suggest the Newburgh-Beacon area. With the Taconic, I87 and I84 we can get pretty much anyone in the Mid Hudson region. |

There was a meet up at Croxley's years back.
probably start with regionals (Nassau/Suffolk, Southern tier, Western, Northern Tier) Im working 2 gigs but can make most weeknights in the evenings maybe a weekend depending on lead time (which I think we may be short on) |

I'll try and make any meeting south of Albany including any on LI.
Just let me know when. during the week I would only be able to make the local meets. Can head north on the weekends after my Teaching gig on Saturday mornings. |
