How is it in Miami? I'm seeing a lot of flag waving from vehicles here in Tampa with non-stop horn honking while driving.

As the island populace is disarmed, I don't see a government overthrow happening. A coup maybe, but no popular uprising.

The folks in this country that are demanding socialism, might want to talk to the folks in Cuba about what they think about it.

It’s wild here now. They have had the 826 shut down for hours. For those that don’t know that’s already the most fucked up expressway down here. I’m about 8 blocks or so west of this and can hear the helicopters and such. I left work early today. The demonstrators had just shut it down when I left work so I got off my exit and home just as it was really getting bad.

Yup. Not sure how this is gonna play out. It’s still shut down. I can still hear multiple copters. However, no cars overturned, no cars on fire, no looting, so there’s that. He can’t really do anything politically down here considering the massive Cuban population and their want to overthrow a Communist regime. It’s not like it’s a new thing. I don’t agree with stopping people to get their shit done, but they did it on the worst damn road in Miami, so I can’t tell much of a difference.

I take Himes to 275N to go home after work in S. Tampa and it was insane on the southbound lanes as I left around 7:15. Cops all over the place and a ton more heading that way. Thank god the Northbound lanes were clear.

They shut 95 down in WPB last night. I don't care what protests are for,you can't do this. They should all be arrested. Good intentions/peaceful doesn't give you a pass. This says 2 things about that new law...1 it's selectivity enforced, & 2, no one cares about it.

I don’t know how they think blocking traffic and getting it on with LEO is going to rally people to their cause or make anyone that isn’t of Cuban ancestry give a crap. Apparently there were a few arrests last night in Tampa and some injured LEOs.

will it just turn into another reason to break stuff? I find that the bees run to the hive.

I'd watch this closely.

Desantis can't really "enforce" this law because it would appear that he was cracking down on anti -socialists. I feel like some of this might be orchestrated to put him in a bad spot for election purposes... but then again the tin foil could be a little tight today.

The driving down Himes & Waters here in Tampa with the incessant non-stop horn blaring is ridiculous.

I would love to see them ... storm ... Rep. Kathy Castor's office instead and get on MSM.
