From what I can tell, the rodeo is operating.

Is it worth the stop?

W'll be staying just outside the Yellowstone East Gate for 2 nights and am considering spending some time in Cody.

If you're going to be in Cody you should go to the Cody museum,   https://centerofthewest.org/our-museums/firearms/

We’re headed there this weekend to spend our first real time there.

also wondering what restaurants are open that are good.

We’ll be spending most of our days in the buffalo bill buildings.

Cody is good!

Tomorrow is the parade thing. Lots of tourists abound.

Crime is low.

ETA: I am hoping to be close to the fireworks this year. Last year I was 10 miles away and it felt like there was an arty barrage in town, Was so cool!

ETAII: museum is open, RV parks are open, Everything is open. No stupid masks required. China is asshole country people are not here clogging up places in the park or in town.

ETA III: some people drink light beer too much and make themselves known in town around 0200 hours. Don't be one of them. The PCSO took in a few people last few nights that couldn't handle their beer/meth flow properly and spent time in a place they didn't want to be.

ETA IV: Don't ride your horse into the Maveric store for anything. That is bad. Mkay...

We ate at Irmas tonight. Pretty satisfied with it. Hitting the buffalo bill stuff tomorrow, some shopping in the afternoon. Hit up a gun store across from Walmart. Lots of AR parts.

I'm in Rock Springs tonight. We head to jackson hole tomorrow, and then to west yellowstone and Gardiner before making to Cody about 1wk from today.

I'm really looking forward to it. This is my first time in WY and it's awesome.

Millstone was good in Cody. Good salads. Decent pizza. Fried ravioli.

Where are you staying in Jackson?
