Colorado Battle Buddies will be doing a ruck on Sunday, March 22nd. Meeting time is 10:00am, step off time is 10:15am.

Meeting location is the East Plum Creek Trailhead @ Meadows Parkway. The route is the East Plum Creek Trail, proceeding south from the trailhead for three miles, then coming back to the trailhead. Google Maps coordinates for trailhead: (39.4062135, -104.8771395).

Castle Rock is open carry friendly.

Per the official American Battle Buddies standards you will need a minimum dry pack weight of 35 lbs without a rifle if attempting to meet provisional status.

At least a few of us will be meeting the “standard hike conditions, 35lbs dry weight with rifle, 45lbs dry weight with no rifle, 6 miles @ 20 min/mile pace or faster.

This will be a qualifying ruck of ~6 miles over flat terrain.

If you just want to go for a walk without a pack and get some fresh air, you’re more than welcome to join us.
