Tuition: $130

Description:

This class focuses on the unique challenges of using a carbine to protect you and your loved ones at the distances encountered in and around the home. While you are welcome to wear chest rigs and "battle belts", the context of the material will be the rapid deployment of the carbine to counter threats in and around the home in situations in which you won't have time to "gear up".

***Due to the scarcity of ammo at present, a rimfire carbine such as the S&W M&P15-22 or a Ruger 10/22 will be welcome in the class.

Lee Weems has been a peace officer since January of 1999. He holds patrol rifle instructor certifications from the FBI and the Georgia Association of Law EnforcementFirearms Instructors Association (GALEFI), and he earned the Distinguished WeaponsExpert rating from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC). He is a certified firearms instructor by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and TrainingCouncil, the FBI, and FLETC, and he has Master Firearms Instructor certifications from Rangemaster and GALEFI. A detailed summary of his qualifications and training can be found at First Person Safety.

Equipment list:
