If you check the Cerakote website, they have a directory of factory trained/authorized applicators. I'm not saying non factory trained applicators are any less skilled, but if I were going to have one of my favorite firearms coated, I'd want the applicator to have factory recommendations. Most applicators listed on the Cerakote directory also have a photo gallery of their work.
