I lived in on Decatur street above the Abbey bar back in 1982. Then I moved to Chalmette, in July 1982.
I lived at The Plymouth Drive Apartments and my address was 301 Plymouth Drive Chalmette. My ex wife and I would walk to De La Ronde park (maybe Torres park) and I had her at De la Ronde hospital or medical center . I have looked on google maps and cant find Plymouth Drive, nor the apartment building, and it looks like a huge cocrete lot where the medical center was. I also thought my address for the abbey was 1123 Decatur but that's not listed. Any help would be appreciated. |

Chalmette got hit hard in Hurricane Katrina. A lot of it never rebuilt.
