For non semis this is referred to as triple tow. No clue why that's just what it's called. I know if the front trailer is a 5th wheel it is legal but if both trailers are "bumper pull" I don't think it's allowed.

Thats been my problem, cant find good info...I wonder if playing ignorant and pleading for mercy will keep me out of jail

According to a Trooper friend of mine, Its legal on the interstate, but regulated on other roads. The confusing part is when and where. He even admits its funky and cant give a straight answer as he cant get one.... The State Government is almost as bad as the Fed....
