Short article by Bill Spadea:

Part of the challenge in New Jersey is that the burden is put on the homeowner to essentially prove that force was necessary to protect themselves or family members. There are also caveats about the duty to retreat if you can reasonably avoid the threat.

No homeowner who confronts a home invader should be prosecuted for using deadly force if they feel threatened. We have to turn the tide in New Jersey.

The way back starts with an END to bail reform, a re-arrest of ALL convicted criminals released for "COVID" before completing their sentences, stepped-up cooperation with federal authorities when it comes to illegals charged with a crime, and longer sentencing for smaller crimes to keep repeat criminals off the streets

nj gun owners are criminalized for wanting to exercise their 2nd amendment rights let alone for shooting in self defense. Just look at the hoops one must jump through to purchase a rifle/shotgun, handgun, obtain a ccw. And the state treats you as a criminal every step of the way. Even the act of just going to the range could lane you in prison.

If you shoot someone in self defense justifiably you will go to prison and you will likely be sued by the victim if he/she doesn’t die and his/her family.

Same could be said for the entire country. I still believe we’re only a few years away from being completely disarmed.
