I’m going to Va. to visit with my sis and BIL in mid June. On my way back I’m hoping to stop at the CMP range for a day of shooting, sporting clays and stretch out the legs of my Garand at 300 and 600 yards.

Don’t stay in Talladega.
I’d stay in Pell City and drive in from there. |

You may want to consider Oxford as well. It may have more eating joints to choose from.
