Pretty sure none of these are on roster but the local gun shop told me they are allowed so long as I can prove the gun is 50 years or older. I am pretty sure all of these CMP 1911s are older than that, has anyone gone through something like this?

C&R as defined by CA (at least 50 years old based on manufacture year) is roster-exempt. All GI 1911s were purchased by 1945 AFAIK. Only some of the parts like barrels and slides were bought later.
The finest opportunity ever given to the world was thrown away because the passion for equality made vain the hope for freedom.
