Constitutional carry is for residents only. Your permit is not valid in Wyoming because Illinois and Wyoming have no reciprocity agreement. Most likely because IL won't recognize a Wyoming permit.
Open carry is legal in Wyoming. Just be smart about where you carry a firearm. What you carry depends on what part of the state you are going. |

Don't really care about CCW, but want to carry when I go in to fish. Hope I don't see a bear, but want to be prepared.

My brother in law lives in Sheridan and is taking me somewhere in the mountains near there.

There aren't any Grizz in the Big Horns, but there are black bear, lions, and wolves. Those are all rarely seen, in the daytime at least.
Have fun fishing, little to worry about except plenty of people. |

Illinois does not recognize a Wyoming carry permit, according to USA Carry.
Thus, Wyoming does not recognize an Illinois permit. |
