Call to Action: To ALL of you who have participated in the Legislative process thus far and advocated for all our inalienable rights to Bear Arms, Thank You.

As you may have heard, a watered-down but still egregious version of the Governor’s Bill HB6667 AN ACT ADDRESSING GUN VIOLENCE did pass the House last week and will now move to the Senate for a vote at any moment.

The 2023 Legislative Session is not over, yet with only hours to days left for the bill to be called in the Senate your immediate attention is imperative.

If you are someone who has not acted and called or emailed your senator yet- This is a call to action for YOU!

If you are someone who has already acted- then this is a call to action for YOU!

STATE SENATORS need to hear from YOU. And they need to continue to hear from us even if you have already called.

We implore you to act now and reach out to your STATE SENATOR. Many legislators are saying they have not heard from us. Make sure your voice is heard and let them know where you stand.

Thank you to the more than 4,000 CCDL members that submitted testimony in opposition to this bill, but the proponents of HB6667 who are saying that those testimonies are “from who knows where” that just clicked a link. We need to show them who and where we are from. We are residents of Connecticut, we are firearm owners, we are constituents and we vote!
