Decent range?  Well managed, maintained, ect? All comments appreciated!

Yes it is. They do USPSA, 3 gun and precision rifle matches there. It is a flood plain, so every so often it does flood. They shot a precision rifle match with the targets out in the water.

Spring and Fall 2012, Steve let a bunch of Hollywood types come in to turn the range into a set so we could film a live fire commercial and online contest there for GFuel (energy drink geared toward gamers so they could stay up all night); the events included UH-1 Huey, R22 Robinson, M134 minigun and my M60E4 pig with thousands of rounds of belted A165, as well as copious amounts of Tannerite and diesel fuel to blow up stationary cars on the ground... we got lots of great video!

Very decent range. Staff is very helpful.

I've known the owner Steve since 2009. I run a lot of the Project Appleseed shoots at that range.

I'm hoping to make it out there some day. Moved to TX almost two years ago and still haven't yet made it to a range. A bunch of the ones around here seem to charge per gun,  which is ridiculous imho.

It's good to go.  It's usually pretty quiet on the weekends unless they are holding an event.  It almost feels like your own private 700 acre ranch/shooting range.  Unfortunately, I didn't renew my membership this year due to not being able to shoot much with the ammo shortage

What year did they start having a GSSF there?  I quit GSSF years ago because the closest were San Antonio and Shreveport, I think Dallas had been dropped the year before.

Maybe I'll start up GSSF again.  I never could understand why no range around Houston didn't step up and host a match.

It isn’t the range, it is Glock. We tired to get a GSSF match at ARC few years ago. Glock said way to close to San Antonio. Glock likes to spend out their matches, they do get away a lot of certificates for guns.

Thanks for all replies!  I moved to the Navasota area and was looking for a nearby shooting complex with a rifle range (500 yards +).

I live five miles outside of Navasota been here 22 years. I have tried to make contact with CCC with no results.
